Cleo Communications Successfully Completes AS2 Interoperability Certification from Drummond for the 8th Year in a Row
Cleo’s customers can be sure that their software solutions will communicate seamlessly while using one of the more popular protocols in the market – AS2. This first quarter testing success proves that Cleo solutions work every time.
ROCKFORD, IL (July 22, 2010) - The Drummond Group released 1st Quarter testing results this month for the baseline interoperability testing of the AS2 protocol. This certification is critical to those doing business in a marketplace where AS2 is one of the most common standards used, such as Distribution, Retail, Manufacturing, Consumer Packaged Goods and Logistics.
AS2 and Cleo
AS2 is one of the most commonly used protocols in Cleo’s customer base of more than 30,000 users worldwide. Cleo offers customers a list of pre-configured hosts that is constantly growing. This client-centric development of hosts helps customers on-board new trading partners faster than ever before. In fact, out of the 700+ pre-configured hosts that Cleo currently offers, nearly 80% support AS2 connections.

Upcoming optional testing in 3rd quarter, 2010, will challenge Cleo’s AS2 solution once again on Certificate Exchange Messaging, Filename Preservation with MDN Response, Multiple Attachments and Reliability, and for the first time will also include the inaugural test of new AS2-Restart capabilities.
