VersaLex Earns Drummond Certification for Global ebXML Interoperability:
Cleo LexiCom and VLTrader now adhere to latest ebMS 2.0 specifications
Rockford, IL— Cleo® Communications, a leading provider of data communications
products and services since the mid 1980’s, today announced that VersaLex™
v4.0 achieved the latest Drummond Certification™ for ebXML Messaging Service
(ebMS) v2.0 interoperability. VersaLex is Cleo’s secure Internet communications
technology that powers Cleo’s client-based software, LexiCom™, as well
as Cleo’s managed file transfer solution, VersaLex Trader (VLTrader™).
Cleo was among three other participants to receive certification for ebMS-4Q08.
VersaLex underwent rigorous testing to verify certificate and data exchange,
error handling, security, compression, and receipt capabilities. The testing
included 20 basic profile tests, including RSA and DSA signatures, synchronous
and asynchronous acknowledgments, large and multipart payload, and duplicate
detection. Cleo also participated in the optional payload encryption tests
and optional payload compression tests.
Major industries including automotive, financial services, government and healthcare rely on ebMS as a secure, interoperable communications protocol. Certified interoperability saves buyers time, money and frustration by knowing that the products will work to specifications and will interoperate successfully with one another.
The Drummond certification program provides neutral third party testing of solutions for interoperability and compliance. The current ebMS test results are listed on the Drummond Group (DGI) website.
