The CLEO VersaLex v4.4 release is available to all CLEO LexiCom and CLEO VLTrader customers under
current support and is built into all new sales of CLEO software. This new release will provide existing and new users of CLEO VLTrader even greater enterprise functionality within CLEO’s trusted, managed file transfer software, including:

• Trading Partner Management: Easily store trading partner information, contact information, associated hosts and mailboxes, as well as, business-critical EDI information specific to each trading partner and individual contact. Once input, this information is fed into other applicable areas of CLEO VLTrader,
  such as: transfer reports, router and certificate exchange.
• Host-Based Actions: Allow users to check the conditions within multiple mailboxes of the same host connection. This allows a subset of commands (SET, CLEAR & CHECK) to run to make sure the desired conditions are implemented.
• Expanded Certificate Management: Similar to protocols such as AS2 and FTPs, schedule the replacement of a packaging certificate (e.g. OpenPGP) to occur automatically on a group of
  chosen mailboxes.

CHECK Command: Use this newly added command to track events and non-events on-demand or at scheduled intervals; this feature provides required confirmations to help you meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that are contractually binding. Other uses include, the ability to trigger another event or allow users to check that file, directory and/or transfer conditions are met. Optionally, you can also view CHECK command success/failure in CLEO VLTrader’s Transfer Report.

• CHECK if an expected inbound transfer was received within a specific timeframe
• CHECK if an expected outbound transfer has not occurred within a specific timeframe
• CHECK if a file is older than a specified age
• CHECK if a directory is not older than a specified age
• CHECK if a folder exists

Security

• Enhanced SSL Parameters: Available for both client and server sides of the CLEO VersaLex SSL protocols (HTTP, FTP, OFTP and SMTP), the following additional SSL security parameters may
  be used:
  • SSL Minimum Protocol Version
  • SSL Maximum Protocol Version
  • SSL Minimum Encryption Key Size
  • SSL Allow Legacy Renegotiation

  These parameters enforce the desired level of security for the enterprise on a global or per
  connection basis.

Ease of Use

Nested Host Folders: Allow administrators to create and use any preferred structure of host subfolders (both in depth and width) for better role-based access and general folder structure organization.

Flexible Configuration

• Javascript Support: Use the SCRIPT command for Javascript in CLEO VLTrader. The SCRIPT command (and other commands) can be used in any of the Execute On Advanced Properties. For your convenience, a built-in script object provides access to applicable portions of the CLEO VersaLex API. This enhancement provides you with more flexible scripting options directly through CLEO VLTrader.

• DB2 Database Support: Use transfer logging, EDI logging, database payload and CLEO VLNavigator features, including CLEO Secure Email and Operator Audit Trail, with DB2 databases.

Advanced Multiprotocol Communications

• OFTP Receipts: Add support for application layer OFTP receipts for both EERPs and NERPs. Positive or negative receipts can then be generated outside of CLEO VLTrader (e.g. from a backend integration system, file management system, etc.). This allows other necessary steps, if applicable, to take place prior to sending the receipt.

CLEO VLProxy v3.0

• Configuration Data: Provide enhanced security by encrypting partner configuration data during transmission from CLEO LexiCom or CLEO VLTrader to CLEO VLProxy. Data remains encrypted in
  CLEO VLProxy memory.
